i fall asleep hearing the
friction of cricket's wings outside my window

While drifting off I hear a distant
coyote howling in the cool, purple night
its voice echos off the mountain tops of your body
i see in my mind

sound waves i
fall asleep observing my thoughts
fall away like large wooden pillars
toppling over into the ocean water
a silent crash

i taste sound waves
bathing me, dipping
dripping
a steep curve up that rolls back down again

i hear
the sound of crunching gravel underneath the pressure of each of my toes

I know you are just a _disconnected_ collage of moments
that I created in my head to make sense of
the undulating waters of emotional entwinement

When i wake up ,            i wont feel as distant as I do now because
it will be the morning    time
and everything passes
when you have the whole day ahead of u
